Christening Card

Today I have a Christening card that I made as I had a request to make 2 of them, I will post the other 1 tomorrow when I have finished making it!

For this card I used Baja Breeze and Whisper White Cardstock, Baja Breeze, Early Espresso ink. To make the bottom of the drawers I used the Modern Label Punch. The stampset is Bundle of Love. I used a blender pen and ink spots to colour in the bear, duck and baby etc. The alphabet is the Just perfect alphabet which I stamped in Baja Breeze and then cut out by hand so the greeting fit on the card!

Sorry for the disappearance again!!

I haven't been able to log in for a while, and I have been working to as I have a job now! I have a couple of Fathers Day cards to show you and a bit more of my Wedding Stationary progress.

These were both made for the same person but my distressing kit had just arrived and I wanted to try it out! They both use Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black cardstock and ink, I have used DSP from the newsprint collection, the stamp set I have used is Plane and Simple. I also used some Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon, a mini bulldog clip and some Silver Brads.

Onto Wedding Stationary, these are the favours 100% complete! There are 110 of them! There was supposed to be 100 but I cut a few extra in case I went wrong. I am really pleased with the outcome....and I hope Laura is too.

Will hopefully be back Tuesday with some more pics, as I am away the weekend.

Thanks for stopping by! Be back soon!

Wedding Favours

Today I have started making the favours for my friends wedding, her bridesmaids dresses are a plum colour so when I was talking to her at the start she told me the colours had to be purple, so we chose a colour scheme of Perfect Plum, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla.

They aren't quite finished I have to put ribbon on them too but I am busy busy busy cutting 100 of them I put a few together to post a picture before I forgot. I also have a picture  of the centre pieces.

This also isn't finished as there will be sweets at the bottom, then the tissue paper, then the multi-coloured strawberries and balloons coming out of the top. The strawberry idea is from a swap I received from a fellow demonstrator at my first training event with Amanda.

Wedding invites...

I have been trying to post this picture for a few days but the website has been down....anyway I have been asked by 2 separate people (both of them are friends) if I could make them wedding invites.. The picture I am showing you today is a mock up for the 2nd lady who asked me, she is getting re-married and wanted something simple but pretty and only using cream and red, this is what I came up with...

I have used Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla cardstock, the Scallop Trim Border and Corner Punch, the Modern Label Extra Large Punch, Manhattan Flower embossing folder and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslits die. She was very pleased with the out come, and so was I.
I will post a picture of the other invites when I have made them.

The Drawer Box still isn't finished as I need to decorate it but you get the idea! and the Watering Can i want t make with DSP, but I don't have any until I receive my starter kit!

New To This...

I'm new to this whole blogging thing.. but as time goes on I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I am about to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator so thought a blog might be a good idea to show people what it is I will be doing.

On the 29th of January I am attending a Demonstrator meeting and I made some Swaps, I only made 10 but it was still a lot to cut out...

Here are a few photos of the bits I was cutting out..

and here is the finished product. I was really pleased with how it turned out.
